Actress Suhani Bhatnagar, who played teenager Babita Phogat in the film Dangal, died as a result of symptoms of Dermatomyositis. Within 10 days of her being diagnosed. The rare condition that caused muscle weakness as well as skin rash snatched her life. 
Delhi saw the passing of actor Suhani Bhatnagar, who was most known for portraying a teenage Babita Phogat in the popular wrestling thriller “Dangal.” Her family discovered that she was afflicted with Dermatomyositis, an uncommon inflammatory illness that results in muscle paralysis and skin rashes. 
 
She was in AIIMs that is All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The day she suffered or had a serious illness was 7th February 2024. On the 16th of February 2024, she died. It says that she has symptoms of this for the last 2 months. However, she was in the hospital just before the 1 day of her demise.  She was having serious symptoms of the disease which weakened her immune system. 

How she died  

A buildup of extra fluid plus an infection caused damage to the lungs as a result of the illness. The pulmonary, heart disease and gastrointestinal systems are among the main organ systems that dermatomyositis can impact. 

Suhani Bhatnagar condition deteriorated, leading to her admission to AIIMS Delhi. According to Sumit Bhatnagar, Suhani’s dad, her health has not improved. Additionally, he mentioned that the global count of individuals with a diagnosis of dermatomyositis is just 5–6.

The Ajronda cremation yard in Faridabad was the location of her funeral. The production company of Aamir Khan offered their sympathies while complimenting her skill and sense of unity.

Her performance in the 2016 historical drama “Dangal,” which tells the story of a wrestler who helps his two children succeed, was well received.
