Balkaur appeared with medical professionals of the hospital wherein the baby was delivered in a picture posted to Instagram. Sources claim that Charan Kaur, fifty-eight, and Balkaur, sixty, had chosen the IVF method. Although Moosewala’s parents were reportedly expecting a kid, Balkaur had advised supporters not to believe speculations a few days prior.
“We are grateful to Sidhu’s fans who are so worried about our family. There is a lot of speculation going on about my family. I request you not to believe all these rumours. Whatever news there is of Sidhu Moosewala, the family will share it with all of you (sic)” he had said in a social media post.
On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was fatally wounded in the Mansa district of Punjab. The rapper-singer ran unsuccessfully for the Punjab Assembly seat in 2022 with a Mansa Congress ticket.
